Bird photography is a growing pass time for the many urban professionals like me in Singapore and the other parts of Southeast Asia. Many rare bird sightings or photos were recorded by these weekend birders. This gallery serves to catalogue the birds I have photographed as a resource to others who are keen in birds and bird photography. All the birds were photographed in their natural habitats. Birds of Australia The fauna of Australia lies in the east of the Wallace Line where many species are endemic to the region. Of the 850+ species found in Australia, 350 species are endemic, nearly 150 species more than the Philippines. Yes, this makes birding in Australia exciting, especially for twitchers. ... Birds of Thailand Besides food, Thailand has another major attraction. It is the best birding ground in Southeast Asia. One will be spoilt for choice in both the food and bird species. The national parks here are well managed and easily accessible. It is my favorite country to bird watching.
