Bird photography is a growing pass time for the many urban professionals like me in Singapore and the other parts of Southeast Asia. Many rare bird sightings or photos were recorded by these weekend birders. This gallery serves to catalogue the birds I have photographed as a resource to others who are keen in birds and bird photography. All the birds were photographed in their natural habitats. Perhaps there were more species of bird then but birding in Singapore today is still very challenging with half of the 350 officially recorded species are either uncommon, rare or vagrant. Birds of Thailand Besides food, Thailand has another major attraction. It is the best birding ground in Southeast Asia. One will be spoilt for choice in both the food and bird species. The national parks here are well managed and easily accessible. It is my favorite country to bird watching.
